Parent Coaching Services
Insurance funded
Some insurance providers may approve parent training if your child has an autism diagnosis.
Some families choose parent behavior coaching instead of direct ABA because it focuses on supporting parents as the main drivers of change. Coaching helps caregivers learn practical strategies they can use during everyday routines, making support more natural and consistent across settings. This option can feel more flexible and collaborative, while still using evidence-based approaches to support children on the autism spectrum and their families.
Self pay- 8 week course
This self-pay, short-term course is designed to empower parents to overcome challenges and build confidence in managing specific behavioral concerns. No autism diagnosis is required, making it an ideal choice for any parent seeking extra support to navigate everyday difficulties.
Our Approach
1
Step One: Initial Consultation
Begin with a personalized session to assess your family’s needs and set goals to foster positive parenting and healthy child growth.
2
Step Two: Observation
Once your goals are set, we will take time to observe your daily routine either in person or via video conferencing in order to observe any behaviors that occur.
3
Step Three: Learn New Skills
Your BCBA will guide you through learning all about the why behind your Childs behavior, identifying “triggers” and teaching you how to respond in specific instances.
4
Step Four: Create an Individualized Behavior Plan
After observing your child’s behaviors and acquiring new skills, we will work together to create a behavior plan. This plan will provide clear strategies for responding effectively to behaviors, supporting your child in learning positive, appropriate actions while minimizing undesired behaviors.
5
Step Five: Progress Monitoring
Together, we will identify what’s working and what isn’t, making any necessary adjustments to simplify your life and support your success.
6
Step Six: Graduation and Maintenance
Your BCBA will provide guidance to help you and your family maintain success and will create a follow-up plan if necessary.
Your BCBA may recommend a more intensive therapy option if parent coaching is not suitable due to the intensity of behaviors or if one-on-one direct ABA therapy would provide significantly greater benefits for you and your child.
